About Conference
Conference of Applied Animal Science (CAAS) 2021 is the 2nd of Seminar Nasional Ilmu Peternakan Terapan (SEMNAS IPT). Previously, this event was held for the first time in 2020 with 395 participants for the seminar session and 27 participants for the parallel session. The enthusiasm and response of the participants who took part in this event were reassembled into different name called the Conference of Applied Animal Science (CAAS) 2021 with a different theme which adapted to the update of the ongoing program. It is the first step towards improving the quality of this event into the international level. The theme of CAAS 2021 is "Synergy Between the Government, Universities, and World Business Industry in the Sustainable Development of Local Livestock Commodities".
This CAAS 2021 is carried out in order to support the vision of Politeknik Negeri Jember, which is to become a superior polytechnic in Asia by 2035 and is also expected to play an important role in supporting the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Republic of Indonesia (RENSTRA KEMENDIKBUD) for 2020-2024 which is increasing productivity and competitiveness through industrial cooperation-based vocational education and training.
The conference will discuss several topics, including:

- Animal nutrition
- Feed technology
- Livestock technology
- Livestock industry
- Socio-economy of livestock
- Livestock Agribusiness
